(CTC) program is extremely affordable.* The plan has contracted with over 12,000 retail optical locations nationwide
to provide our members with a 20%
to 60% discount on prescription eyeglasses. Save 10% to 40%
on replacement contact lenses through our convenient mail order service
and 10% to 20% at participating
locations.
Discounts of 10% to 30% on other items offered at retail,
as well as eye exams and surgical procedures such as PRK and
LASIK are also available at many participating ophthalmological and eye
surgery locations nationwide. Our national network of
providers includes independent practitioners, regional chains, national chains and
participating department store opticals. You can elect to make your purchases from such
well known names as LensCrafters, Sears Optical, JC
Penney Optical, Target Optical, Pearle Vision, Sterling Optical, Eye
Drx, Cohen’s Fashion Optical and many other local chains.
Most frames, lenses, and specialty items such as
tints, scratch resistant coatings, and ultraviolet protection are available. There is no
limit on the number of times the member and their family may use the membership during the
year. Members may take their out-of-network doctor's prescription to one of our
participating providers to purchase their eyeglasses at CTC rates.
CTC also contracts with ophthalmologists (M.D.'s) in selected markets across the United
States to provide members with discounts on eyeglasses, contact lenses, eye exams, and
surgical procedures such as LASIK surgery where available. Members use
the provider link on this page or call the toll-free number to access participating
physicians in their area. If there is not an ophthalmologist close by, members may give
their doctor's name, address, and phone number to a CTC representative and (s)he will be
invited to join the program.
